One of my favorite coupon bloggers posted a monster coupon haul that she donated to her local food back through her daughters school food drive.

The Coupon Goddess made $104.45 by purchasing $1,679.56 worth of products from Shaws and she says she’s only HALFWAY though with this great sale.

I love to see people helping other people by mastering the art of couponing and then donating their great deals. The Coupon Goddess also helps support a group of soldiers in Iraq on a regular basis as well as sustaining her family on one income so she can stay home with her munchkins.

I thought I was good, she puts me to shame!

I don’t know about you guys but I am motivated all over again to clip that stack of inserts that’s been waiting for me for the last month!

I’m back from a week long vacation in the mountains of Colorado. Was looking for a week of nothing, nothing wasn’t exactly what happened since I work many jobs and they always seem to hunt me down no matter what I do or where I go. Eh, I did get some time to myself so it wasn’t a total bust.

Now I’m catching up with my Google Reader and I was perusing @ChristianPF to find an interesting review of a new personal finance book that looks rather interesting. Where to Put Your Money Now by Peter Passell attempts to give direction and guidance to the burning questions of where to invest safely and effectively to grow your wealth.

I think I’ll check it out! If you’ve already gotten a hold of this one tell us what you thought about it in the comments. I’d love to hear more reviews before investing in a copy of my own.
