I’m on the hunt for cheap eats and nothing in the land of groceries is cheaper then Ramen Noodles. I decided to fool around with the noodles common to so many college students (I know I had my fill during my four years) and see if I could make something delicious out of them.

Ingredients

  • One head green cabbage
  • One head purple cabbage
  • Garlic salt
  • Toasted slivered almonds
  • Toasted sesame seeds
  • Six green onions
  • 1/2 cup Seasoned Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • Three packages of Ramen Noodles

Break up the Ramen Noodles and dice the green onions and set them aside then slice the cabbage into thin strips and place them in a large bowl. Toss the cabbage with garlic salt (you can definitely use fresh garlic if you prefer). Add the sesame seeds, slivered almonds, scallions, and broken up Ramen Noodles. Combine the oil and vinegar, mix together with the salad and place in the fridge to chill (optional).

Before serving add a few more broken Ramen Noodles on top to add a little crunch and enjoy!
